Chris Wood’s first half hat-trick against Wolves helped Burnley move nine points clear of the bottom three.
Burnley started the game brilliantly at Molineux as they were 3-0 up at the break thanks to three goals from Wood.
Ashley Westwood got the Clarets’ fourth goal of the game in the final ten minutes as they take a major step towards safety. They are now up to 14th and they are nine points clear of 17th-placed Fulham.
