RED BATTLE FOR KONATE
Well, well. After that absolute sh*t-show against Real Madrid, Liverpool might want a new right-back too, but according to Eurosport, ‘in an ideal world Klopp would love to see Liverpool sign both (Ibrahima) Konate and Kabak for a combined fee of over £50m, but it is very unlikely – so a decision will need to be made reasonably soon’.
The problem is that there are other suitors for Konate, namely Chelsea and now Manchester United. Sevilla’s Jules Kounde and Villarreal’s Pau Torres are said to be United’s main central defensive targets but they are also monitoring Rafael Varane’s situation at Real Madrid as well as ‘having an eye’ on RB Leipzig’s Konate. He would cost around £34m.
AGUERO TO ‘CONSIDER’ CHELSEA AND SPURS
Sergio Aguero being available for free offers opportunity for Premier League clubs this summer and the Daily Telegraph says that the Argentine striker would ‘consider’ both Chelsea and Tottenham, even though neither are guaranteed to be in the Champions League next season.
‘One of his closest friends Lionel Messi would welcome him at Barcelona in Spain, where he played for Atletico Madrid until he joined City,’ but there are a ‘clutch’ of teams he would consider in England. Arsenal and Manchester United have already been ruled out.
ARSENAL TO SELL LACAZETTE?
‘Arsenal are prepared to sell striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer, with the Frenchman due to enter the final year of his Gunners contract at the end of June,’ claims 90 Min. They say that the Gunners will cash in on the striker this summer to raise much-needed funds for the rebuild of this faltering Gunners side.
So who would buy Lacazette? Well, Inter Milan, Roma, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are the clubs linked to a striker who has never scored more than 14 Premier League goals in any of his four seasons at the club.
