CHELSEA AND ARSENAL WANT INTER MAN
Inter Milan’s financial woes could mean that they are forced to sell Achraf Hakimi this summer, and the Daily Telegraph claim that both Chelsea and Arsenal are interested in the Moroccan, who plays at right wing-back for the Serie A leaders. They only signed him last summer for £36m but they may have to cash in on some of their assets.
Arsenal will be looking to replace Hector Bellerin this summer but Hakimi is unlikely to join Arsenal if they are out of Europe. Chelsea seems a more likely destination, though they do have Reece James at the club and he is highly rated by new coach Thomas Tuchel.

Christian Pulisic played just one minute as Chelsea beat Everton on Monday night and that is not unusual; the American has not started a single Premier League game under Thomas Tuchel, who admits he has probably been ‘unfair’ to the American, who appears to be behind Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Callum Hudson-Odoi in the pecking order.
So where are we now? Why, with the MailOnline claiming that ‘Thomas Tuchel’s latest snub to Christian Pulisic has put Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich on alert’. We think it is a massive guess based on his previous suitors but it’s as good a guess as any.
BARCA WANT HAALAND
Of course they want Erling Haaland. Of course they do. But the problem is that Barcelona do not have a lot of money. So while Sport concede that the Norwegian will be expensive, new president Joan ‘Laporta’s good relations with Mino Raiola, his representative, allow Barça fans to dream’.
In the meantime, it’s all about the free transfers, with Eric Garcia, David Alaba, Memphis Depay and Sergio Aguero all available for no transfer fee this summer, though we suspect the Argentine will not be the only one who wants a hefty signing-on bonus.
