Gossip: Liverpool to re-sign Luis Suarez on one condition

LIVERPOOL TO TARGET SUAREZ IF SALAH LEAVES
Rumours of Liverpool’s interest in re-signing Luis Suarez aren’t going away…

Whispers first emerged a couple of weeks ago, with Jurgen Klopp said to be keen on adding an experienced, recognised goalscorer to his attacking ranks.

Deportes Cuatro have stoked the fire once more by claiming that Liverpool will move again for Suarez if Mo Salah departs Anfield this summer.

Salah has been linked with Real Madrid, though the Spaniards were probably not too impressed with what they saw on Wednesday night.

Obviously, at 34, Suarez doesn’t fit the usual profile of a Liverpool signing but it seems they are ready to make an exception for a player who achieved cult hero status between 2011 and 2014.

MAN UTD TO HAGGLE OVER VIOLA DEFENDER
Despite being reported to be in ‘advanced talks’ with Raphael Varane, Manchester United continue to track Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.

The Serbia centre-back has been linked with United for what feels like forever but The Sun reckons this summer will be the time they finally make a move.

Milenkovic is out of contract next year and it seems the 23-year-old has little interest in signing a new deal.

Fiorentina want £38million for the defender – a demand United aren’t willing to meet.

Chelsea are also reported to be keen and so too are AC Milan, though the Rossoneri’s preference is for a permanent deal for Fikayo Tomori.

HAALAND’S SALARY RULES OUT REAL AND BARCA
With the rising of the sun comes a fresh line on Erling Haaland’s future…

It’s hardly new information that Haaland and Mino Raiola expect a sh*t-tonne of money to move in the summer. But Goal have put a little more meat on the bones by revealing that the Norway striker expects a salary of £30million from his next club.

At around £577,000 a week, that seems to rule out Barcelona – they can hardly pay the players they have – and Real Madrid, despite Raiola and Haaland Sr’s little jaunt between the two Spanish clubs recently.

It is also reported that a Premier League club made a firm move recently but have since stepped away upon learning Haaland’s demands.

And what of Borussia Dortmund? The Germans, apparently, won’t listen to any offers this summer below £130million. Which seems fair enough.
