Gareth Bale shone for Tottenham as he netted a brace in only his third Premier League start of the season against Burnley.
Bale, Harry Kane and Lucas Moura all scored in the space of 31 first half minutes as Spurs made a scintillating start.
The Welshman made it four in the second half with a clinical left-footed finish. They are now just six points behind West Ham in fourth.
