Tottenham 2-0 Wolves: Kane, Hojbjerg score to move Spurs up to sixth

Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg got on the scoresheet as Tottenham eased to victory over Wolves.

Spurs started the game the better of the two sides. Kane hit the post from long range early on. This was before Conor Coady made two goal-line blocks in the space of a few minutes before half time.

The hosts did take the lead shortly after Coady made his clearances, though. Kane beat the offside trap to advance towards goal. He got the better of his markers as he calmly found the net past Rui Patricio.

Tottenham continued to dominate in the second half against a below-par Wolves side. They doubled their lead in the 62nd minute.

Gareth Bale’s shot was saved by Patricio but Hojbjerg was there to smash the ball home from close range. It finished 2-0 and this win moves Spurs above West Ham into sixth on goal difference.
