Thomas Tuchel’s treatment of Chelsea star Christian Pulisic has reportedly put Man Utd and Liverpool ‘on alert’.
The American international has struggled for game time under Tuchel in recent weeks.
He was left out of their squad to face Sheffield United last month and was benched during the 2-0 win over Newcastle.

According to the Daily Mail, Man Utd and Liverpool are monitoring the situation ahead of a potential move.
They’ve been revealed as having an interest in Pulisic alongside German giants Bayern Munich.
The trio believe they can pounce on the unrest at Stamford Bridge with a major bid.
The winger was a Man Utd fan growing up which has intensified the transfer rumours.
The Red Devils might now look to sign Pulisic instead of Dortmund wonderkid Jadon Sancho.
Pulisic is desperate to become a star in the Premier League.
He featured 25 times in the competition last season, scoring nine goals.
However, he’s endured a far more turbulent campaign this time around.
The 22-year-old began his season with a poorly-timed hamstring injury.
Since Tuchel took over in January, he’s mainly had to rely on substitute appearances.
The manager prefers to play Mason Mount and Hakim Ziyech behind the striker.
Given the Blues’ success in recent weeks, it’s clear to see why Tuchel doesn’t want to change things.
But it’s led to Pulisic growing frustrated at his lack of opportunities.
Liverpool and Bayern now look set to rival Man Utd for the player’s signature.
Bayern were big fans of Pulisic during his time in the Bundesliga with Dortmund.
They failed to sign him when he joined Chelsea for a reported £58million in 2019.
Tuchel was asked earlier this week about his treatment of the player.
He said: “It is my responsibility and it is a bit unfair but I know what impact he can have in the last 20 or 30 minutes.
“He was a bit unlucky in the last few games. It isn’t a lack of trust or quality, it is just that he will have to be patient.”
The situation is surprising given his existing relationship with Pulisic.
Tuchel gave the American his Dortmund debut during their time together in Germany, but things have now soured.
