The 35 teams in the Concacaf region are preparing to battle it out for 3.5 places at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
The first round of qualifying will be played between the member associations ranked 6th to 35th in their region based on the FIFA Ranking from 16 July 2020. At the end of the first round, the six group winners will move into the second round to compete for a place at the finals. Mexico, USA, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Honduras have already qualified directly for the third round.
