John Terry and Patrick Vieira are both in the running to become the new AFC Bournemouth manager, according to reports.
The Cherries are on the lookout for a new boss after Jason Tindall was sacked after only six months in charge.
Tindall was the assistant to Eddie Howe throughout his reign. The latter left the club when they were relegated and it was announced in August 2020 that Tindall was to take over.

A poor run of four straight defeats in the Championship led to his dismissal. Bournemouth were sixth in the table when he left.
Jonathon Woodgate has been given the job on a temporary basis. Harry Redknapp has confirmed that he is currently lending a hand to Woodgate due to his allegiances to the Cherries.
The former Middlesbrough manager won his first game in charge as Bournemouth beat Birmingham City 3-2 on Saturday.
The club are still searching for a new permanent boss though. The Times have reported that Terry and Vieira are both being considered for the vacancy. They add that Terry has “expressed an interest” in taking the job.
The Chelsea legend has been Dean Smith’s assistant at Aston Villa since 2018. This came after he decided to retire after spending a year at Villa as a player.
The former defender has been part of the set-up that have helped the Villans enjoy a great start to the season. They currently sit ninth in the Premier League with games in hand on those around them.
Unlike Terry, Vieira does have past managerial experience. He has in charge of New York City between January 2016 and June 2018. He left there to take over at Ligue 1 side Nice.
The ex-Arsenal man was in the job until December 2020, but he was dismissed after losing five straight games before the end of the year.
