Spurs believe they will be able to hang onto Son Heung-min in the summer transfer window as they try to keep their squad together, according to reports.
The South Korean has been in fine form for most of the season, scoring 21 goals and contributing 11 assists in all competitions.
It has been a difficult season for Tottenham, who had to settled for an eighth-placed finish in the Premier League and qualification for UEFA’s new Europa Conference League.

Spurs have been hit by the news that Harry Kane reportedly wants to leave the club this summer with the England international also dropping transfer hints during a recent interview with Gary Neville.
And Football Insider claims Tottenham are ‘confident’ that Son will remain at the club next season despite ‘speculation he could agitate to leave if Harry Kane is successful in engineering his own exit.’
The 28-year-old only has two years left on his contract and no doubt he will also be frustrated at the lack of trophies won during his time at the club.
Spurs have reportedly offered him a new bumper five-year deal worth £200k a week but Son has yet to put pen to paper on the contract.
Football Insider adds that Spurs ‘do not want to cash in on the wide forward and are very hopeful they will not have to following recent talks’.
Tottenham are keen to avoid ‘mutiny in the stands’ that would ensue if Son was to ‘follow’ Kane ‘through the exit door’.
Son recently spoke of his sadness after Jose Mourinho was relieved of his duties in April, he said: “It’s always sad if someone loses the day job. Having worked with Mourinho for 17 or 18 months, it’s been up and down, it’s been good and sometimes we’ve been not so good.
“I think for me and my memory he will still be one of the best managers in the world. It’s just so sad that he didn’t go with success. It was really sad because he is the guy that wins everything.
“It was the only team that he wasn’t successful, so I feel really sorry about this kind of thing.”
