Jamie O’Hara says Spurs should consider selling Harry Kane to fund a ‘complete rebuild’ of their first team.
Jose Mourinho’s men suffered another setback on Sunday as they were beaten 3-1 by Manchester United.
They took the lead through Heung-Min Son in the first half but conceded three in the second.

Fred, Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood all scored to hand Spurs a major blow in their pursuit of Champions League football.
They’re now six points behind fourth-placed West Ham after 31 games.
Reacting to the defeat, O’Hara told talkSPORT: “As a Spurs fan, obviously you don’t want Harry Kane to ever leave the football club.
“But if he is going to leave and you’re outside the top-four, there needs to be a rebuild there.
“The club is a joke at the minute, the players are not good enough, no desire, no heart.
“You look at Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Erik Lamela, Davison Sanchez, Eric Dier… we could raise £200million here and build a new team.
“It might not be with Harry Kane but you could sign six or seven new, young, hungry and vibrant star players who want to take Spurs to a new level.”
Kane has been linked with top clubs including Manchester City and Real Madrid in recent months.
Many pundits are calling for the striker to leave North London in search of major trophies.
One opportunity for Kane to end that run is the Carabao Cup final towards the end of April.
However, City’s form this season makes them clear favourites.
O’Hara continued: “The Carabao Cup is the only saving grace in the season for us now, that’s why we’re not talking about Mourinho getting the sack yet. But I can’t see us winning, I can’t see us beating City.
“As soon as that’s over I think the whole world is going to come down on Spurs.
“Mourinho is not a manager who gets the best out of his players, he finishes players! Gareth Bale looks like he’s finished, Dele Alli, Sanchez, they look finished.
“But they also need to be held accountable, because some of the performances from the players out there is pathetic.”
