Ralph Hasenhuttl says Southampton’s 2-0 win over Sheff Utd ‘feels good’ as they ended their winless run.
The Saints picked up their first victory in the Premier League since January 4 at Bramall Lane.
James Ward-Prowse opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute.

Ethan Ampadu had brought down Nathan Tella in the box, forcing the referee to point to the spot.
Che Adams doubled their lead in the second half with a fantastic strike.
He received a chested ball from Stuart Armstrong and sent a rifling drive past Aaron Ramsdale.
Reacting to the win, Hasenhuttl told Sky Sports (via BBC Sport): “The first win after a long time is always an important one. I think it was deserved, a good performance. It feels good.
“The team did what we had to do against a side fighting for everything. We could have scored more. That’s the only thing I could criticise. Nathan Tella played a good game.
“When you don’t have your first team on the pitch it’s always tough. We don’t have such a big squad. You miss players in crucial positions like right-back. When you get them back, you automatically feel more confident. You can immediately work on a few things we showed in the first half of the season.
“There are still a lot of games to go. We’ve been much higher in the table than we had this negative run. It’s important we can turn it round now.”
The only downside for Hasenhuttl was an early injury to talisman Danny Ings.
When asked about Ings, the Austrian manager said: “Again it’s a muscle problem. It doesn’t look good to be honest.”
Southampton will be aiming to turn their fortunes around now and build on this win.
They face league leaders Man City on Wednesday at 18:00.
