Jadon Sancho will stay at Borussia Dortmund this summer despite ongoing links of a move to Manchester United, according to Jens Lehmann.
Sancho signed for Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017 for around £8m. He was immediately inserted into their first-team and he was gradually grown into one of the best young attackers in European football.
The forward enjoyed a breakout season in 2019/20. He got 20 goals and 20 assists from his 44 outings for the German side that campaign.

Dortmund currently sit sixth in the Bundesliga. But he has carried that great form into this term. He has 12 goals and 16 assists from 31 appearances for them so far this season.
Overall the youngster has 46 goals and 60 assists from 130 Dortmund appearances. He was heavily linked with a switch to Manchester United last summer but a move never came to fruition.
In an interview with The Daily Star, Lehmann said he expects Sancho and Jude Bellingham to stay at Dortmund for now:
“Right now, I think [Sancho and Bellingham] are staying. Most of the big clubs have full squads anyway.
“You’d have to be really really outstanding if a bigger club tries to get you. But if you can imagine a club like Chelsea, Manchester United or Manchester City, there is already 30 or 35 players plus the players on loan.
“It’s not that easy to make a decision for guys like Jude Bellingham and Sancho at this early stage in their careers.
“Would they add something? We’re not sure, but first of all they need to decrease their own squad size.
“Sancho is doing very well. Right now his stats can be compared to Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski. I think the third-best in the whole of Europe. It’s fantastic for English football.”
