Tottenham interim boss Ryan Mason is reportedly hoping to land his first full-time role once their new manager is brought in.
The former midfielder, 29, took over on a temporary basis in April following the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
He won four of his six league games in charge as Tottenham finished seventh, helping them to qualify for the inaugural Europa Conference League.

According to the Daily Mail, Mason will look to gain a permanent role in the summer rather than return to Tottenham‘s backroom staff.
He’s enjoyed his time at the helm of the north London side and could take over at a lower league team.
Mason’s chances of gaining a job are boosted by his fairly impressive spell at Spurs.
Players were said to have been galvanised by his coaching sessions in the last few weeks of the season. He also helped to improve the squad’s confidence in the immediate aftermath of Mourinho’s departure.
Mason ended his temporary reign with a 4-2 victory over Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City. The Englishman placed his trust in loanee Gareth Bale on the final day and the Welshman delivered, scoring twice late on.
Under Mason, Bale produced some of the best displays of his return to Tottenham.
Mason also impressed the Spurs hierarchy during his short stint in charge.
He was asked about numerous important issues by the media, including the European Super League fiasco and the future of talisman Harry Kane.
When asked about Kane’s request to leave Spurs, Mason said: “Of course no player wants to end their career with regrets.
“I don’t think any human being likes having regrets either. It’s normal. If you speak to any player in the world we say the same.
“The summer is the summer, next season is next season, but at the moment the only conversations that we’ll be having are about the game at the weekend, not only with Harry but every other player in the squad as well.”
His maturity in front of the cameras is another reason why Spurs want to keep the coach past this season.
