Arsenal are unlikely to ever challenge Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool again, according to Jamie O’Hara.
The Gunners have had a terrible season in the Premier League with Mikel Arteta’s men currently sitting tenth in the Premier League table, behind promoted Leeds United.
Arsenal won the FA Cup last season and are into the semi-finals of the Europa League this term – but they haven’t won a Premier League title for 17 years, while the Gunners are still waiting to win the European Cup.

And former Tottenham midfielder O’Hara doubts that they will ever compete for football’s top prizes again.
“Seventh vs seventh – what a game in the Europa League,” O’Hara told talkSPORT.
“Arsenal are now like the Sevilla of England, aren’t they. They are a really top Europa League side that just can’t get into the Champions League.
“I’ve watched Arsenal on loads of occasions this season in the Premier League and they’ve been poor, they’re so average.
“They’ve played decent in the Europa, to be fair to them, they’ve played better, it was a great performance against Slavia Prague and I think it will be an all-English final.
“But Arsenal flatter to deceive – one moment they’re alright and you think they’re decent, they’ve got a good philosophy and they could progress with this, and then you watch them and they’re really poor. But they could win this cup!
“This is what annoys me about Arsenal, and fair play to them really, that even in average seasons, poor seasons in their standards, they still win trophies.
“Spurs act like we’re a massive club and we’re part of this big six, and we have great seasons and don’t win anything, but Arsenal have a bad season and still win a trophy!
“And I can’t see them coming back, to be honest. Competing for titles like they were with Arsene Wenger? No chance.
“They aren’t going to splash the cash. They’re not going to spend loads of money, Arsenal, that’s why there’s uproar, that’s why there are protests, because they are not that club, they’re not going to rebuild a whole team.
“And the club is not for sale, either. This Spotify takeover will not happen and they are not going to start competing with Manchester City, Man United and Liverpool.
“Those days are over!”
