Fatigue and injuries are major themes this season, with Premier League players having less rest as the fixtures come thick and fast. So we’ve looked at which clubs are utilising their squads most so far…
West Brom have already used more players this season than any Premier League club last term. The Baggies have used nine more players than Leeds or Aston Villa. The Baggies have already used five more players than they did last term, when they used fewer players than any other side in the Championship.
Villa have used the joint-fewest players and made the joint-fewest substitutes.
West Ham have the highest number of 100 percenters – players who have played every minute of the Premier League season so far.
For all the talk of fatigue affecting Liverpool’s press, only three clubs have used more players this season.
