Former Porto winger Paulo Futre was “disgusted” after hearing that the Chelsea squad celebrated getting the Portuguese side in their Champions League quarter-final draw.
Thomas Tuchel’s men got past Atletico Madrid 3-0 on aggregate in the last round and will be heavy favourites to overcome the 2004 champions, despite them beating Juventus in the last 16.
The draw against Porto appears favourable for the Premier League outfit but Futre is hoping that his former side can “sweat blood” and beat Chelsea.

Futre told CMTV: “Chelsea players celebrated when they heard that they had drawn Porto. How did I know? It’s in the English press and I called later to confirm.
“FC Porto players have to run like never before in these two games. Do you know why? Because Chelsea think they have already won the tie. They celebrated!
“When I spoke to the source I was disgusted and I would give anything to play against Chelsea.
“FC Porto players now have to give their all on the pitch, because Chelsea think they are already in the semi-finals. They celebrated in the morning when they saw they got FC Porto.
“Porto can get through, but they have to sweat blood.”
Tuchel is currently on a 14-match unbeaten start as Chelsea boss after replacing Frank Lampard back in January and the German will see the Champions League as a chance of silveware this season.
Reacting to the draw, Tuchel said: “First of all I am happy we play an international game and not against an English team, the Champions League is about that.
“We have the second leg at home which feels good because we maybe have a slight advantage to finish at home.
“Clearly, many people will now make us favourites against Porto but that will not help us. You can ask in Turin if that helps you.
“We are self-confident and that is strongly connected with our performances. So we are confident that we will face a strong opponent and face them with respect, but we are in the quarter-final and are focused on winning that.”
