Poch ‘frustrated’ with Levy over Alli after Mourinho agreement

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly ‘frustrated’ with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy after the PSG boss was unable to secure a deal for Dele Alli.

The Spurs midfielder has made just four Premier League appearances this season after falling out of favour under Jose Mourinho.

Pochettino was hoping to reunite with Alli in Paris for the second half of this season with Mourinho willing to allow him to leave the club.

But Levy refused to sanction the deal and the Daily Mail claim Pochettino has been left frustrated by his former employer.

The report states that Pochettino, Alli and Mourinho were all keen on the move, but Levy decided not to let the player leave because Tottenham were unable to bring in a replacement.

Former star Christian Eriksen, Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus and RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer were all linked with Spurs as potential replacements for Alli but none of them materialised.
