Michael Owen believes that playing in a neutral venue will only help Liverpool for their Champions League tie against RB Leipzig.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are in a poor run of form of late having lost three straight games in the Premier League.
This dip has seen them drop down to sixth in the table with hopes of retaining their title all-but over with Manchester City moving clear at the top.

Liverpool have a chance to respond to recent defeats in the Champions League. They face RB Leipzig in Budapest in the first leg of their knockout round tie.
Owen told BetVictor, as cited by The Mirror, that he expects Liverpool to beat their German opponents 2-1 on Tuesday night:
“Liverpool fans will be hoping the return of Champions League football will spark their side back into form after an underwhelming run domestically.
“Saturday’s loss away to Leicester will have been a hard one to take, especially after taking the lead in the second half.
“Leipzig have only lost one home game all season, so the Germans may feel a bit aggrieved that this will be played at a neutral venue in Budapest.
“That can only benefit Liverpool, and I think back on European soil, it may be the change of scenery the players need. So, I’m backing the Reds to bounce back in what should be an entertaining match.”
