It was on this day back in 2000 that Celtic beat Kilmarnock 4-2 in the Scottish Premier League.
There was nothing significant about the fixture, it was a usual run-of-the-mill league game. But it was events in the second half that made the game memorable.
Celtic were 2-0 up going into the start of the second half and had an amazing four goals disallowed in a 17 minute spell.
Former Derby County and Aston Villa striker Tommy Johnson had three goals disallowed. Mark Burchill was the other unfortunate Celtic player to have a goal chalked off.
Kilmarnock scored twice to level the game after Johnson’s first two disallowed efforts.
Celtic finally scored two goals that were allowed as Eyal Berkovic and Mark Burchill gave the home side all three points.
