It was on this day back in 2017 that the England Under 17s won the World Cup, beating Spain 5-2 in Kolkatta, India.
It was by no means an easy task and was made much harder when Spainraced into a two-goal lead. Hower the Three Lions came back to record a convincing 5-2 win thanks to goals from Rhian Brewster and Morgan Gibbs-White, a double from Manchrster City’s Phil Foden and Marc Guehi.

Crystal Palace’s Nya Kirby, Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher and Manchester United’s Angel Gomes came on for Gibbs-White, McEachron and Oakley-Boothe respectively.
