25th February 2016 is a date that will be ingrained in the memory of Marcus Rashford. This is because it was on this day five years ago, Rashford made his Manchester United debut.
United were at home to Danish side FC Midtjylland in the Europa League Round of 16. They were 2-1 down from the first leg but comfortably won 5-1 in this return leg at Old Trafford. Rashford scoring twice and in doing so, broke George Best’s record of being the youngest Manchester United player to score in Europe.
Three days later, United faced Arsenal in the Premier League. They won 3-2 and Rashford scored twice, becoming the youngest United player to score on his league debut!
