Gary Neville says Liverpool fans are not seeing the “danger” FSG pose to their football club in the wake of Manchester United fan protests against the Glazer family.
The clash between United and Liverpool was postponed on Sunday after fans broke into the stadium.
Much of the protesting was peaceful but there was damage done to Old Trafford, flares were thrown and at least one police officer is said to have been injured in the process.

While the majority of the talk from Sky Sports pundits Neville, Jamie Carragher, Roy Keane, Graeme Souness and Micah Richards was aimed at Man United, Neville put some of the focus on Liverpool’s owners too.
“Let’s talk about FSG a little bit,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“They’ve been part of four things in the past 12 months which are desperate signs, they’re acting desperately behind the scenes.
“They [made the initial decision to furlough staff], that is very un-Liverpool-like, they’ve gone for the Project Big Picture and tried to change the 14 and six rule in English football.
“Now, along with the Glazers, they’ve tried to create a Super League. These are desperate actions from the owners of Liverpool Football Club.
“I think they’re struggling at the moment, through Covid obviously, economic issues like loads of businesses have all around the world, but they’re acting desperately.
“At this moment in time, I accept that Manchester United fans are angrier with the Glazers than Liverpool fans are.
“But the Liverpool fans need to see the danger of what FSG are doing because they are acting desperately behind the scenes.”
Liverpool released a statement following the decision to have the match against Manchester United postponed.
“Liverpool Football Club was in full agreement with the decision to postpone today’s fixture as a result of ongoing events at Old Trafford and the surrounding area,” the statement read.
“It is our position that public safety must be the number one factor in any such decision, with the ability to provide a secure environment for the participants, staff and officials being a particular priority.
“It was clearly not possible for this to be guaranteed today due to a situation which escalated rapidly.
“We will continue to have dialogue with Manchester United, the Premier League and the local authorities to find a suitable date to reschedule.
“As soon as we have this information we will update our supporters accordingly.”
