Interim Tottenham Hotspur boss Ryan Mason praised Dele Alli after he helped his side beat Wolves 2-0 on Sunday to move up to sixth.
Spurs started the game the better of the two sides. Kane hit the post from outside the area early on. This was before Conor Coady made two goal-line blocks in the space of a few seconds before half time.
The hosts did take the lead shortly after Coady made these clearances, though. Kane beat the offside trap before he advanced towards the goal. He got the better of his markers as he clinically found the net past Rui Patricio.

Tottenham continued to dominate in the second half against a Wolves side who were far from their best. This was before they doubled their lead in the 62nd minute.
Gareth Bale‘s shot was saved by Patricio but Hojbjerg was there to smash the ball home from close range at the second time of asking.
It finished 2-0 and this win moves Spurs above West Ham into sixth on goal difference. Tottenham host Aston Villa on Wednesday night as they hope to cement their place in the top six.
Mason told BBC Sport after the game that Spurs were “excellent” against Wolves and they deserved all three points:
“The most important thing is to win. Today our performance was excellent. We controlled the game. Our attacking players will be disappointed there weren’t more goals – they deserved it.
“Even at 2-0 they had a couple of chances but overall we had control of the game.
“[Dele Alli is] Professional. It’s not easy for professional footballers to spend a long time on the sidelines. Dele has started the last three games – that says a lot about him. He loves football, he runs, he fights. He’s disappointed he didn’t get a goal – he deserved one. He had a really good game.
“This is Tottenham Hotspur. We want to be playing in the biggest competition in the biggest games. This season hasn’t gone to plan.
“We really can’t wait to play in front of our fans. 10,000 fans here will make a hell of a difference.”
