AS Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile has confirmed that he received an offer from Manchester United in the summer.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a fruitful campaign for the Ligue 1 side under former Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac, scoring two goals in 25 appearances to help his side mount a title bid.

And the centre-back – who was thrust into the Monaco team by Thierry Henry as a 17-year-old in 2018 – has admitted that he received an offer from United in September to make a £22million move to Old Trafford, but has no regrets over turning them down.
He told RMC Sport: “It was the right choice, first off is I have not enjoyed good seasons since I have been at Monaco.
“We played to stay up and so now I am really experiencing the top of the table and I think that continuing with the club that formed me was the right decision and this is being proved by the season that we are having.”
Pressed further as to whether he has any Man United regrets, he replied unequivocally: “No, not at all.”
