In-form City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has urged his teammates to ‘stay humble’ in their Premier League title bid.
Pep Guardiola’s men sit top of the table after 22 matches, five points ahead of rivals Man Utd.
They also have a game in hand, putting them in a strong position during the title race.

One driving force behind their success is Gundogan. The 30-year-old has scored an impressive nine goals in his last 11 league matches.
That includes two in the huge victory over reigning champions Liverpool yesterday.
Despite their dominance in recent weeks, Gundogan thinks his team can’t get carried away.
He told the PA news agency: “We know it is a long season and there are still many games to play.
“Probably the most important thing now is to stay humble and to approach every game like we did in the last few weeks and months.
“Every single game brings a new challenge, but it is always about taking these challenges and trying to make the best out of it.
“The Premier League is so competitive and maybe (it is) the most competitive year that we have had, so it is about every single game and opponent.
“We know we are in a very good moment but we shouldn’t take it for granted and not drop any edge and to keep going to do the stuff we have been doing as good as possible.
“Then, it can be a great and successful season for us.”
This season looks like a great opportunity for Guardiola to win his third Premier League title since taking charge at the Etihad.
City are ten points clear of the faltering Liverpool, who have lost three of their last five league fixtures.
Chelsea and Spurs look to be out of contention, while Leicester City remain in the top four.
City’s next match is against Swansea in the FA Cup fifth round on Wednesday.
