Former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock says the Reds ‘need to make signings’ in the upcoming summer transfer window.
They’ve been badly affected by injuries to Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson this campaign.
Fabinho and Joel Matip have also spent time on the sidelines.

The loss of those players has ruled them out of the Premier League title race. They’ve also exited Europe after being knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid.
Warnock thinks club chiefs will try to bolster their squad once the season ends.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “They’ll try and add players to the ranks. We’re talking about a centre-half, which they’ve been openly looking at. Then a centre-forward would probably be in the mix as well.
“If Gini Wijnaldum is to leave the club then they’ll need a replacement in centre-midfield. That’s something they’ll look to build on.
“I don’t think there’s too much wrong [with the Liverpool squad] if I’m being honest.
“But if you look at the centre-half injuries this season, that would have impacted any team.”
Midfielder Wijnaldum is on the verge of a summer exit after running down his contract at Anfield.
Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea are interested in signing the Dutch playmaker.
Liverpool have been linked with a host potential successors.
One who seems to fit the bill is Wijnaldum’s compatriot Ryan Gravenberch.
Despite being just 18, Gravenberch is already proving to be a top player for Ajax.
Liverpool could secure his services for £30million, but they will face competition from Chelsea.
Another option is Sheffield United’s Sander Berge. The Norwegian international appears comfortable playing in the Premier League and would likely thrive in the Liverpool team.
The Blades’ imminent relegation may reduce his transfer fee, too.
Liverpool have the option of making Ozan Kabak’s loan deal permanent in the summer. They could sign him for £18million or target other defensive solutions.
Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane is available after entering the final 18 months of his contract.
Reds legend John Barnes believes signing Varane would be a ‘fantastic’ piece of business for the club.
