Jurgen Klopp insisted that there a lot of positives for Liverpool to take from their victory at Molineux against Wolves.
Wolves made a promising start against Liverpool and they could have easily been awarded a penalty in the second minute. Alisson let slip a cross from Adama Traore. He then made contact with Nelson Semedo but the play continued.
The hosts had a few openings but Klopp’s side got the first goal in stoppage time with their first shot on target. The front three combined as Diogo Jota was fed the ball inside the area. His left-footed shot just about found the bottom corner past Rui Patricio.

There was little between the sides in the second half as both had decent openings. There was a lot of added time as a result of a collision between Patricio and Conor Coady, but Liverpool hung on for all three points.
This is their fifth away victory from of their last six games in all competitions. With results going their way over the weekend, they are now up to sixth in the Premier League. They are five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea with nine games to go.
Klopp told Sky Sports post-match, as cited by BBC Sport, that it was a “big fight” against Wolves on Monday night:
“It was an awful situation. I have spoken to Wolves staff, they are rather positive. It was a proper shock.”
On the game: “It’s all about the result. A big fight. If we want three dirty points, I’m fine with that. We had very good moments where we should have done better. Defensively the whole game was really good. I didn’t like the start, we weren’t active enough.
“We defended well, we counter-attacked. A lot of really good football moments. The goal we scored was beautiful. I thought the goalie would have saved it but it was in.
“A lot of good news tonight but most important, the three points.
“We want to go into the [international] break with a positive feeling and we have it.”
