Juventus have been warned about their future in the Italian top flight if they remain part of the European Super League.
Juventus, along with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, are hoping to restore the controversial competition despite its rapid downfall.
They’re refusing to renounce the breakaway league and are hoping for it to start in 2022.

But their continued negligence of existing rules in the game could see their Serie A membership voided.
Speaking about the club, Italian football’s president Gabriele Gravina said: “The rules are clear. If Juventus is still part of the Super League when it enters next season, it can’t participate in Serie A.
“I would be sorry for the fans but rules are rules and they apply to everyone.
“The rules foresee the non-participation in our championship if the principles established by the federation and UEFA are not accepted.
“We are all a bit tired of this tug-of-war between UEFA and these three clubs. I hope this dispute can be resolved as soon as possible. I hope to be able to mediate between Juventus and UEFA.
“It’s not good for international football, Italian football, or Juventus. We have already said that the football association respects the rules.”
The Premier League’s ‘Big Six’ – Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham – swiftly left the Super League following huge fan backlash.
They’ve since responded to fans with open letters and looked to rebuild some bridges.
Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and Inter Milan soon joined them in leaving the ESL.
All nine teams pledged their commitment to UEFA and its competitions last week.
Responding to the announcement, UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin said: “At the UEFA Congress two weeks ago, I said that it takes a strong organisation to admit making a mistake especially in these days of trial by social media. These clubs have done just that.
“In accepting their commitments and willingness to repair the disruption they caused, UEFA wants to put this chapter behind it and move forward in a positive spirit.
“The measures announced are significant, but none of the financial penalties will be retained by UEFA. They will all be reinvested into youth and grassroots football in local communities across Europe, including the UK.
“These clubs recognised their mistakes quickly and have taken action to demonstrate their contrition and future commitment to European football. The same cannot be said for the clubs that remain involved in the so-called ‘Super League’ and UEFA will deal with those clubs subsequently.”
