West Ham boss David Moyes insisted that he is still “believing” that his side could end up in the Champions League places.
Burnley took the lead against West Ham in the 19th minute from the penalty spot. They were awarded the spot-kick as Chris Wood was brought down by Tomas Soucek. The striker took it himself and he fired the ball into the bottom corner past Lukasz Fabianski.
It did not take Moyes‘ men long to recover, however, as they equalised just two minutes later. Michail Antonio got away from Ben Mee and James Tarkowski in the area to head in Vladimir Coufal’s cross.

The Londoners completed their comeback in the 29th minute. Said Benrahma sent in a curling cross towards the back post. Antonio drifted away from his markers before tapping in from close range.
Jay Rodriguez missed a great chance to equalise but West Ham continued to impress as they picked up a well-deserved three points at Turf Moor.
The Hammers move up to fifth and they are now just three points behind Chelsea with four games to go. They face Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton this Sunday at the London Stadium.
As cited by BBC Sport, Moyes said post-match that West Ham will have to win all their remaining games to finish in the top four:
“The team played really well. We won 2-1 but I felt it was a lot more than that. We rode our luck at the end but we should have been out of sight.
“I’d love to be in Europe. It would be an incredible achievement. We’re not far away from the Champions League positions. We’ve got to keep believing.
On Benrahma: “He played well tonight but he’s still got more consistency to come. Asking boys to be successful in their first season in the Premier League isn’t easy. I’m hoping he adds that [goals and assists] to us. I always felt it would take him a bit longer. He is a really good team player.
“Four games to go, it’s great. I want to smile about it. I’ve been here before – we’ll probably have to win the four games. If we played the way we played tonight we’ll give most teams a game.”
