Dean Henderson looks set to be handed a chance to atone for his Europa League error when Manchester United entertain West Ham on Sunday.
Henderson has been deputising David De Gea who flew to Spain to be with his partner for the birth of their child.
The Whitehaven-born keeper made an impressive start with clean sheets against Crystal Palace and champions-elect Manchester City.

However, he found himself under the microscope after a late concession in the Europa League draw with AC Milan on Thursday night.
His failure to keep out Simon Kjaer’s injury-time header has left United with it all to do when they head to the San Siro next week and provided manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a selection headache.
Thoughts of replacing him may have to wait though, with the Red Devils boss unsure whether De Gea will be available for the Hammers clash.
“He’s just touch and go for Sunday, I think. I can’t really know when he came back, so I’m not really sure if it was Monday or Tuesday that he arrived back in Manchester.”
Current regulations allow travellers from Spain to be released from quarantine if they test negative for Covid-19 after five days of isolation.
Pushed to clarify De Gea’s situation, the United boss added: “I think the rules are that he’s got to stay at home.
“He’s not training with us anyway. It’s different if you travel away and compete so, no, he’s not been training since he came back.”
Should De Gea be unavailable, he will join Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek and Juan Mata on the sidelines.
Anthony Martial is awaiting assessment for the hip complaint forced him off at half-time on Thursday, with fellow frontmen Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani all serious doubts.
“Anthony, he got a whack on his hip so that’s another forward that we need to scan and have to look at,” added Solskjaer.
“Definitely hope Marcus is back for next Thursday in Milan, I’m not sure if he’ll make Sunday, but fingers crossed because we will need him.
“Edinson I don’t think will be ready for Sunday, no.”
