Haaland pours cold water on exit rumors as he returns to Dortmund’s pre-season

There has been a lot of rumors surrounding the future of one of the most promising talents in the world of football, but after today’s words, it seems that there will be no more discussions about Erling Braut Haaland’s “next” team.

The Norwegian striker has been linked to teams such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea, and many more. Nevertheless, the footballer seems determined to keep playing for Borussia Dortmund for quite a while,  which could see him live to see the end of his three-year deal with the Black and Yellow side.

The player made his first appearance at Borussia Dortmund’s training complex earlier today, and his words hint that he is not interested in leaving his current club despite all the ink that has been spent on writing about his future.

“For starters, I have three years left in my deal. I’m enjoying my time here. But I want to win, trophies are important to me and I wanted to win last season,” Haaland said.

Then, the former RB Salzburg player dropped one more hint about his future that had to do with his relationship with agent Mino Raiola.

“Before last Sunday I had not spoken with my agent in over a month. So there’s your answer,” the striker added.

Haaland shared his views on the amount of money that Chelsea or Real Madrid are reportedly willing to pay for his services, admitting that he would not like those numbers to be true.

“I hope those figures are just rumors, because paying that much money for an individual is not right,” Haaland concluded.

Before the interview came to its end, Haaland dropped one more hint about his future by sharing his views on Donyell Malen’s arrival to the Black and Yellow.

“I hope he is looking forward to being on the pitch right next to me,” the striker concluded.
