France 3-0 Wales: Mbappe scores against 10-man Dragons

Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele got on the scoresheet for France against Rob Page’s 10-man Wales side.

France were gifted a chance to open the scoring in the 26th minute. They were awarded a penalty for a handball in the penalty area. The Liverpool defender was sent off but Karim Benzema missed the subsequent penalty.

They did take the lead before the break through Mbappe, though. Danny Ward saved Griezemann’s initial shot but Mbappe converted the rebound.

Griezmann got a goal of his own in the second half as he found the top left corner from the edge of the area.

His Barcelona teammate Dembele rounded off the scoring in the 79th minute. Benzema struck the post but Dembele was there to tap it home from close range.

Wales face Albania on Saturday in their final match before the European Championships. They face Switzerland on Saturday, June 12 in their group opener.
