Borussia Dortmund held firm over Manchester United‘s interest in Jadon Sancho last summer, but that doesn’t appear to have ended the transfer saga.
Michael Zorc, Dortmund’s sporting director, has stated that there’s a “gentleman’s agreement” with Sancho to allow him to leave the club if the right offer comes in.
The 21-year-old is among European football’s most highly-rated young talents, and for good reason – he’s been outstanding since he burst onto the scene in Germany a couple of years ago.
According to German outlet Bild, United want to sign Sancho before the Euro 2020 and are willing to offer £77million to seal the deal.
We’ve compared Sancho’s 2020-21 Bundesliga stats to the corresponding Premier League output of Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Daniel James to see how he stacks up against their existing options.
