Bruno Fernandes could be key to Manchester United signing Raphinha this summer as he is reportedly in ‘daily contact’ with the Leeds star.
The duo built a strong bond in their time together at Sporting Lisbon and the Brazilian’s excellent form in the Premier League – which has seen him notch five goals and five assists – has sparked interest from both United and Liverpool.

Raphinha moved to Elland Road from Stade Rennes last summer fo a bargain £17million, but Leeds will do well to keep hold of him amid top clubs circling.
And Brazilian outlet UOL (via the Daily Express) claims Fernandes’ ongoing contact with Raphinha could be the key in luring the 24-year-old to Old Trafford.
The report claims the pair speak on a daily basis and that United have made an enquiry.
“Raphinha, I miss Raphinha,” Fernandes told Top Mercato in December 2019. “He’s a player with whom I had a different chemistry from the others. He understood me at a glance.
“He knew, according to the movement of my body, where I was going to put the ball to him.
“I also miss him because he brought joy to the locker room. He’s also a responsible and hardworking person.”
