Brighton chief executive Graham Barber says Graham Potter is ‘very happy’ at the Amex Stadium after being linked with the Tottenham job.
Potter is rumoured to be on Daniel Levy’s shortlist of replacements for Jose Mourinho, who was sacked in April.
Spurs have already missed out on RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann as the German will join Bayern Munich this summer.

When asked about the speculation surrounding Potter, Barber said: “We have no desire whatsoever to lose Graham.
“Graham is very happy here. We are delighted with the work he is doing, the work that the staff around Graham are doing, so as far as we are concerned, there is absolutely no way that we would allow Graham to leave at this time.
“I don’t think there is any interest on Graham’s part either, I think he is very happy with what he is doing and we are delighted with what he is doing for us.
“I think over the last two seasons people have seen the progress we have made in terms of the style of football and the quality of our performances against teams that have got substantially more expensive squads than us and a very significant part of that is down to the work of Graham and his staff.
“So we are delighted with him and we expect him to be here for many years to come.
“Nobody has been in contact with me and I wouldn’t expect them to.”
The Englishman took over at the Amex Stadium in 2019, shortly after the departure of Chris Houghton.
He’s impressed Premier League managers with his attractive style of play. The only trouble for the Seagulls this season has been finishing off their chances.
They’ve scored just 35 goals in 34 games, leaving them 14th in the table. A win against Wolves on Sunday would see them reach the 40-point mark and pretty much guarantee their Premier League safety.
For Spurs, meanwhile, the search for a new manager rumbles on. Levy has appointed former player Ryan Mason as interim head coach in the short-term.
Ajax boss Erik ten Hag was linked with the vacant hot seat, but he swiftly shut down those rumours by signing a new contract.
