Brendan Rodgers says Leicester have ‘no concerns’ about their trip to Manchester United next week.
United fans stormed the pitch at Old Trafford on Sunday, causing their Premier League clash with Liverpool to be called off.
Supporters gathered to protest against the Glazer family, which has owned the club since the 2000s and was involved in the controversial European Super League plans last month.

They also protested outside the team hotel before the planned 4:30pm kick-off. Six police officers were injured in the demonstrations and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has since requested for future protests to be ‘civilised’.
When asked about the need to boost security around the Leicester squad, Rodgers said: “We’ve got no concerns.
“Obviously we’ve seen the protest last weekend. We condemn any violence that was seen on the day, but certainly for the Manchester United supporters there has clearly been a source of frustration for many, many years for them, and they come out to support the team and support their role within that.
“But for us, going there next week, we’ve got no concerns whatsoever. We look forward to going there and playing the game.”
United fans are joined by those at Arsenal, who similarly want Stan Kroenke out of the Emirates.
Spotify owner Daniel Ek is thought to be planning a major bid in the coming months and has involved Arsenal legend Thierry Henry in the process.
In contrast, Rodgers has praised the Srivaddhanaprabha family, who own Leicester: “I think in essence here, the owners – very much the supporters is what they think about, how they can look after their fans.
“I think here, first and foremost, it’s all about the support and how they can put everything in place, and it’s not necessarily only a business for them. Of course they put in huge amounts of money, but it’s all based around taking care of the fans and making sure the supporters are proud of the club. I’m sure there’s many clubs that would have loved them to have been their owners.
“Certainly, in my experience here, they have a great relationship with the supporters, with the players, and with everyone within the club.”
The Foxes’ next game is against Steve Bruce’s Newcastle on Friday at 20:00. They then face United on Wednesday May 12.
