Brendan Rodgers says he is ‘disappointed’ by Leicester’s 1-1 draw with 10-man Southampton.
The Foxes had a great chance to strengthen their grip on a Champions League place when Jannik Vestergaard was sent off in the 10th-minute.
But they failed to make their man advantage count and ended up dropping points at St Mary’s.

Vestergaard was dismissed for a challenge on Jamie Vardy, who ran through on goal following a poor touch by the centre-back.
Rodgers will have expected his team to dominate from then onwards but Southampton held firm.
They took the lead in the second half from the penalty spot.
A shot raced towards in-form striker Kelechi Iheanacho, who was unable to get his hands out of the way.
The referee was forced to point to the spot and James Ward-Prowse confidently dispatched.
Jonny Evans brought Leicester level seven minutes later. An accurate Iheanacho cross found the defender’s head, allowing him to beat keeper Alex McCarthy from close range.
Leicester couldn’t find another goal and were left disappointed on the night.
Reacting to the draw, Rodgers told Sky Sports (via BBC Sport): “[It’s] a little frustrating, I don’t think we did enough to win the game. A great opportunity against 10 men and we’re normally very good at that. Give credit to Southampton, they defended deep and compact but we’re disappointed.
“We had no change to how we played – it’s an advantage for you. The speed was too slow. We didn’t really start to play with that tempo until we got the equaliser.
“I haven’t seen the red card back. I need to see it again.
“We had a lot of ball on the sides so we took off the defenders to get attacking impetus. We arrived in good positions but didn’t have the timing when we got in there.
“When we get back in again on Monday it is another point towards where we want to go. We’ve now got four games to go. We’re in a brilliant position.”
The result puts Leicester five points ahead of fourth-placed Chelsea, who play Fulham on Saturday.
It also pushes Southampton up to 37 points and on the brink of Premier League safety.
