Dimitar Berbatov is hoping that this Sunday’s Manchester derby at the Etihad will not be a “boring game” like their last Premier League meeting.
Manchester City head into the derby aiming to extend their winning run in all competitions to 22 games. This form has seen them move clear of Man United in the race for the title.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have stuttered of late, as they have drawn their last three games 0-0. City are 14 points clear at the top of the Premier League.

When the sides last met in the league, they drew 0-0 after a dire game at Old Trafford. A month later, Man City beat their rivals 2-0 in the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
Speaking to The Metro, Berbatov has predicted that Man United will end Man City’s winning streak:
“I don’t want to see a boring game like the last time these two sides met in the Premier League, I almost fell asleep for that.
“I want United to put and end to this City winning streak, I think it will be on the minds of the City players and United can take advantage of that, so I am going to go with them. Prediction 2-3.
Berbatov also predicted that Burnley will beat Arsenal:
He added: “I saw Burnley’s match against Leicester and let me tell you Schmeichel was the man of the match, he made some unbelievable saves so Burnley are not a team to be underestimated.
“In this league, there are so many surprises. As much I like the way Arteta wants them to play, Arsenal are still a bit shaky in defence. So I’m backing Burnley in this one. Prediction 1-0.”
