First half strikes from James Maddison and Harvey Barnes help Leicester to their ninth away win of the season.
The Foxes were deservedly in control at the break thanks to goals from Maddison and Barnes. Aston Villa improved in the second half. Bertrand Traore scored to get them back into the game.
But Brendan Rodgers side saw out the 90 minutes with their one-goal lead still intact. They move into second with this win, and they are seven points behind Man City ahead of their meeting against Arsenal.
