Arsenal will have to pay €25 million (£22 million) if they want to sign Dani Ceballos permanently from Real Madrid, according to reports.
The midfielder first joined the Gunners on loan in July 2019, before extending the deal last summer.
He is thought to have a good relationship with manager Mikel Arteta, sparking rumours of a permanent switch.

According to Spanish source La Razon (via Metro), Arsenal will have to pay £22 million to sign Ceballos.
Real will allow the 24-year-old to leave this summer as they try to improve their transfer funds.
Ceballos became an important player for the Gunners last season. He featured in the Premier League 24 times, on either side of a muscle tear in November 2019.
He helped the North London club to win their 14th FA Cup in August.
The Spain international has made 16 league appearances so far this term. His role at the Emirates is now under threat from new signing Martin Odegaard, who has bolstered Arteta’s options in midfield.
Ceballos hasn’t played since the 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace last month. Club legend Martin Keown thinks the arrival of Odegaard could jeopardise Ceballos’ Arsenal career.
The player is also having to compete with Emile Smith-Rowe for a place in the first team.
The 20-year-old has been in impressive form this season and is getting Gunners fans excited about his future.
Ceballos isn’t the only player that looks set to leave the Bernabeu this summer.
Brazilian winger Vinicius Jr could be on his way out of Spain after a poor season with Loc Blancos.
Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with his signature.
Real will aim to sell the duo to improve their chances of affording Kylian Mbappe.
The Paris Saint-Germain starlet could make a huge move later this year.
