Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that Richarlison will remain at Everton “as long as I stay” and he praised the forward for being a “complete” footballer.
The Brazillian joined Everton from Watford in 2018 for an initial fee of around £35m. This came after he got five goals and four assists for the Londoners in his first season in England.
The 23-year-old has stepped up his game during his time at Everton. He has 40 goals and nine assists for them from just over 100 appearances.

Richarlison continues to be a vital player to Everton under Ancelotti. The forward was previously linked with a move to Barcelona.
In a recent interview, as cited by the Liverpool Echo, Ancelotti was quick to shut down talk of Richarlison leaving:
“I try to talk to him all the time, everyday, but the communication is not so good, I have to say, I need an interpreter, maybe I told him these kinds of things.
“But I don’t know how long his contract is, honestly, but Richarlison he will stay here as long as I stay, this is for sure.
“I like him as a player. And if he doesn’t like me as a manager, it doesn’t matter, he will stay here!
“Richarlison is a modern striker, a complete striker, because he is a striker who works really hard – the physical statistics of Richarlison are really high, like a midfielder – but he has speed and he is really clinical in the box.
“Fantastic with the head and clinical in front of the goalkeeper and his movement without the ball is really good. I think he can be one of the top strikers in Europe.
“He has all these kind of qualities and he has not a specific position on the pitch because he can play centre-forward, he can play on the right, he can play on the left. He is really complete.
“Where he has to improve is with his technical ability, and he can improve, controlling the ball and this and that but his movement without the ball is really top and his positioning in the box is of a high standard.”
