Sam Allardyce has admitted that he is “very jealous” of the amount of quality Chelsea have at their disposal in attacking areas.
Allardyce took over from Slaven Bilic at West Brom in December 2020. He has been unable to drag them away from trouble as he has only won two of his 17 games in charge.
This form leaves them 19th in the Premier League. They are ten points adrift of 17th-placed Newcastle United.

The Baggies will have to return to winning ways soon if they want to stay up. They travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.
Speaking ahead of that game, as cited by The Metro, Allardyce insisted that Tuchel has done a great job since taking over at Chelsea:
“Fantastic because he’s done the right thing. Start with clean sheets and then you build from there. He’s done that absolutely magnificently.
“That’s not to say that Chelsea are not very entertaining, because the quality of the players they’ve got at the other end, they are, and obviously I’m very jealous about that.”
Allardyce has also encouraged Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher to stay with West Brom next season:
“If we stay in the Premier League I’d hope he is here next season not at Chelsea. He’d be better off having another season with us rather than the competitive size of the Chelsea squad.
“He is learning and development level at 19 has been improved. I have seen a good player since I have been here and I heard how good he was before I came.
“I think every day and every game he plays in the Premier League he gains more experience. When you lose more than you win, which he is experiencing for the first time, it makes you tougher. More determined.
“At such a young age to get these disappointments week in week out it can only stand him in good stead and improve his career. He has been a good asset for us.
“He has kept senior players out and he is only 19. His consistent level of performance has impressed me.”
