Everton in talks to sign 24-yr-old ace with 17 goal contributions last season – originally posted on Sportslens.com
Everton are looking to sign the Colombian winger Luis Diaz before the transfer window closes.
The Porto winger had an outstanding campaign last year and he was the top scorer in the Copa America as well. The 24-year-old picked up 11 goals and six assists across all competitions for Porto last season.
Everton could definitely use a quality wide forward like him and the Premier League side are currently in talks with Porto regarding a £25 million transfer as per The Telegraph.
The report further states that the deal for Diaz would see James Rodriguez head to the opposite direction.

Rodriguez has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park for weeks now and manager Rafael Benitez is hoping to get the transfer sorted before deadline day.
Meanwhile, the Toffees have been linked with a move for the former Newcastle United striker Salomon Rondon as well.
The Venezuelan forward worked with Benitez during their time together at St James’ Park and a reunion is a possibility this summer.
It is no secret that the Merseyside outfit will need to add more depth to their striking department and Rondon could be the ideal backup option for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
In other news, Everton forward Richarlison has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain recently and keeping him at the club will be just as important as bringing in quality new reinforcements.
