Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with a move for the Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiyasu this summer.
According to Mike McGrath from the Telegraph, the transfer still remains possible despite the fact that talks between the two clubs have stalled.
Apparently, the defender is valued at £17 million and the two clubs have not managed to reach an agreement regarding the structure of the payments.

The 22-year-old Japanese international can play as a centre back as well as a full back and his versatility will be a bonus for Nuno Espirito Santo if the Londoners manage to secure his services before the transfer window closes.
Spurs have already improved their back four with the signing of Cristian Romero from Atalanta but they need to bring in another defender who can slot in as a centre back and provide cover for the fullbacks.
The Londoners have lost Toby Alderweireld this summer and their full-backs have been quite mediocre over the past year. Signing another defender should be a priority for them.
The 22-year-old Japanese defender seems like an ideal fit and the Londoners must do everything in their power to secure his signature the summer.
A moved to Tottenham would be a step up for the player and he could be tempted to play at a higher level in the Premier League this season.
