Celtic host St. Mirren in the Scottish Premiership later today and the Hoops will be looking to continue their impressive run of form with a comfortable win.

The Hoops have won their last five matches across all competitions and they have managed to keep three clean sheets in that time.

Furthermore, Ange Postecoglou’s men have been outstanding going forward and they have scored 18 goals in the last five outings.

There is no doubt that the Hoops will be massive favourites heading into this contest and they have an impressive head to head record against today’s opposition as well.

Celtic have managed to beat St. Mirren in five of their last six meetings and the fans will be expecting more of the same here.

The visitors have failed to win the first two matches of the new league campaign and they will be massive underdogs today.

It remains to be seen whether they can pull off an upset at Parkhead. They did manage to beat Celtic at Parkhead earlier this year in January and the visitors will fancy their chances once again.

Celtic Predicted XI (4-3-3): Joe Hart (GK); Greg Taylor, Carl Starfelt, Stephen Welsh, Anthony Ralston; Callum McGregor, David Turnbull, Tom Rogic; Liel Abada, Odsonne Edouard, Kyogo Furuhashi

Postecoglou is likely to make one change to the side that beat AZ Alkmaar. 23-year-old striker Odsonne Edouard is likely to come back into the side in place of James Forrest for today’s game.
