Ange Postecoglou needed to sign a quality full-back this summer and the Hoops were linked with the likes of Yan Couto in recent weeks.
However, they have opted to move for the Croatian international and Juranovic could prove to be a quality long term acquisition for them.
The 26-year-old defender is already a first-team player for his country and he has the ability to shine in the Scottish premiership as well.
The reported fee seems quite reasonable in today’s market and it remains to be seen whether the Hoops can finalise the transfer quickly.
Celtic were quite vulnerable at the back last season and Postecoglou has done well to improve his defensive options.
The Hoops have already signed Carl Starfelt and Juranovic is closing in on a move to Parkhead as well.
Apparently, the Scottish giants are closing in on a move to sign Liam Scales from Shamrock Rovers as well.
