34 goals in the last two seasons: Celtic keen on 25-yr-old attacker this summer – originally posted on Sportslens.com
Celtic are interested in signing Kristijan Lovric from Gorica this summer.
According to Daily Record, the winger is a target for the Scottish side but Verona are keen on signing him as well.
The report adds that the 25-year-old could cost around £5m.
Lovric has scored 34 goals in his last two seasons and he could be a useful addition to Ange Postecoglou’s attack. The Hoops need to add more goals to the side and the 25-year-old seems like an ideal fit.
Celtic star Odsonne Edouard has been linked with a move away from Parkhead and Postecoglou must look to strengthen his attacking unit as a whole if the Frenchman moves on.
Apart from signing a striker, Celtic must bring in a goalscoring wide forward as well.
The reported fee for Lovric seems quite reasonable in today’s market and it will be interesting to see if the Hoops decide to follow up on their interest with a concrete offer for the winger in the coming weeks.
Celtic have made a poor start to their season so far. They crashed out of the Champions League and failed to win their opening game of the season.
The fans will be hoping that the club can sort out their vulnerabilities in the transfer market before the window closes.
