Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to express their reactions to reports linking the club with a move for Danish midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard.
The Whites have been looking to sign a central midfielder this summer, while Marcelo Bielsa could look to bolster his attacking areas as well.
Conor Gallagher of Chelsea have been linked with a move, and it seems the Whites have now earmarked Damsgaard who is also attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
According to reports via Il Bianconero, the Yorkshire club have shown an interest in signing the 21-year-old.
The Sampdoria midfielder did reasonably well last season for the Italian club, but his stock has risen following his outstanding display in European championships this summer.
In fact, Damsgaard got a lucky break into the side following the shock illness of Christian Eriksen. He grabbed the opportunity with both hands and stamped his authority in the tournament, scoring a spectacular freekick against England.
Sampdoria want more than €30 million (£25.6m) to sanction his sale, and they are unlikely to lower their valuation.

Damsgaard gives the impression of a type of player who is ideally suited for the Premier League, and joining Leeds could be a smart move.
Bielsa has a strong track record for developing young talent, and Damsgaard will have the opportunity to take his game to the next level under a world-class manager.
