Everton have been linked with a move for the Lazio forward Joaquin Correa.

The 26-year-old is expected to leave the Italian club this summer and the Biancocelesti are demanding a fee of around €35 million.

Apparently Italian champions Inter Milan are keen on signing the Argentine international as well but Everton are also pressing for his services as per Calciomercato.

Everton could use a versatile attacker next season and Correa could prove to be a superb addition.

The 26-year-old Argentine can operate as a wide forward as well as a centre forward and his versatility could prove to be really useful for Rafael Benitez and the Toffees.

The Lazio attacker had an impressive season last year and he managed to score 11 goals and pick up six assists across all competitions.

The player has a contract with the Italian club until the summer of 2024 and it is understandable why Lazio are demanding a fee of around €35 million for his services. The Italians are under no pressure to sell him just yet.

Although the asking price might seem steep right now, the player has the ability to make a significant impact on the Everton attack next season.

It will be interesting to see if Everton can fend off the competition from Inter Milan and secure the South American attacker’s services in the coming weeks.
